Colorful European Composite Slate Tops Hebert Property

Some roofs just look like a perfect fit on a home. That’s certainly the case with the new Single-Width Slate roof on the Hebert residence. The richness of the European blend of colors beautifully tops off the Tudor-style home, pool house and parking area.

Set on an acre of land in Louisiana, the Hebert property makes the most of its space. The 5,000-square-foot-main house leads to an elegant stone patio in the backyard. Steps away you’ll find the luxurious pool and an 800-square-foot pool house. Nestled in between is the parking area.

Mother Nature Calling

This beautiful setting was covered by a top-of-the-line shingle with a long-term warranty, so the homeowners thought they were secure. Then an unexpected hail storm arrived. Suddenly they discovered the roof did not hold up against Mother Nature.

“We were surprised that our roof didn’t handle the hail storm,” says Mark Hebert. “That’s when we got in touch with Premier South Roofing and Sheet Metal, and asked for a recommendation.

“They told us about DaVinci Roofscapes and we were impressed. Once we saw the credentials of this product, the natural-looking slate profile, and heard about the Lifetime Limited Materials Warranty, we were sold.”

Standing Up to Mother NatureEuropean

All DaVinci composite roofing products are Class 4 impact rated — the highest rating available. Certified to stand up to winds reaching 110 mph, the DaVinci products meet Miami-Dade County and Texas Department of Insurance codes. They’re also certified for High Velocity Hurricane Zone (TAS 125, up to 180 mph).

The Heberts went for more than just a replacement roof. They selected a European blend of colors that makes their property shine. Three shades of gray and two shades of purple composite tiles combine to create a colorful, yet very natural-looking, composite slate roof.

“We could immediately see that our investment in the DaVinci product was going to increase our overall home value,” says Hebert. “Maybe what we didn’t expect was the overwhelming response from our neighbors. Everyone loves it.

“The new roof looks exceptional. Premier South did a very good job on the installation. Losing a roof to hail is not fun … but it’s almost worth it to get this new Multi-Width Slate roof on our property!”
